Vagrant is a way to automate the process of building virtualized computers. "Recipes" specify what operating system, configuration, and additional software will be installed. What used to take even the best computer technicians half a day or more to set up new computer systems is now done with one single command. What we really like about it is the ability to tweak those recipes depending on circumstances. We also love that Vagrant is very powerful yet free software.
